Lake Peipsi is the largest and northernmost of the entire lake basin reservoirs , the boundary between the North Estonia and Latvia from the Pskov region. In ancient Russian chronicles Lake Peipus called all said pool. The southern part of the basin is now called Lake Pskov , the average is the same kind of part of the strait connecting Peipus and Lake Pskov and called the local Russian inhabitants warm lake . The latter can be regarded as the boundary in the north of the island Pirisaar , and on the south island of Sally .
